I'm a little confused about something, and this is probably going to sound stupid xD but do you have to wait until your character's portrayer is approved to begin role-playing? My portrayer hasn't been approved yet, and I just wanted to make sure.

Nah you can rp, but you can't put your portrayer as you're avatar, or in your banner until it has been approved Smile

I'm not sure if you're still looking for a portrayer, but if you go to one of the questions threads in the newbie center, there's a link that can take you to a thread where people can help find you a portrayer. :3

I just have a quick question. Is it alright for a character's non godly parent (or in Chris' case her adoptive parents) to also be a demigod?

The only reason I ask is that it gives me a moderately good way to start rping as Chris

I've seen people use a different color to differentiate dialogue instead of quotation marks. Is this the norm?

That's a personal preference thing, though from what I've seen, people tend to use quotation marks as well as a speech color.

You don't have to do it, but yes, a lot of people use colors for dialogue :3 It makes it a little easier to see exactly when a character is speaking since the quotation marks can be hard to see at times.

Any color you want! If you don't like any the site has to offer, there are plenty of sites to find a color you do like! Just type "html color code" or that sort of thing into a search. Smile
