@ Paul: You can choose not to have a faceclaim but if you want to have an actor as faceclaim you have to request it in the official face claims list, to be found in news and announcements --> Important lists. If it's drawn you can go without one ofcourse, presuming you don't make it extremely obvious it's that particular superstar or something. Hope that was helpful

@ Zayne: That completely depends on who you are having the thread with. Some people continue their thread but most of us would start a new thread in the new location. It also depends on where you move (Within camp is often confined in the same thread while moving out of camp usually also means location switches) Hope that was helpful

You could try asking members that they want to do threads or not, or you could just post that you want to RP here. That way other people that want to RP can see that you want to RP as well.

As directed by Elijah, I'm here to ask a few questions about what I absolutely should not do RP-wise... I've been off the roleplay circuit for a few years and am thus a little rusty.

1) Could somebody explain to me what a Site-Wide Plot is?

2) I was under the impression that we had to ask 'Chiron' before leaving camp, possibly by posting in the Big House (and suggested someone do it in a topic, which got them in trouble. Oops.)
What are the rules for leaving on quests and going out to the 'non-camp' areas of the forum?

1) SWP (site wide plot) is the plot which the whole site is following. Like if we have a quest, that is part of the SWP, and then the entire site is welcome to RP their reactions to the situation. In our case, the SWP involves Camp Jupiter being relocated within the borders of Camp Half-blood because of the actions of some of the gods (or so I've been told). Therefore, romans and greeks can RP together. There was some issue with the Augur seizing control, but the Romans have returned to a Praetorship with Centurions and cohorts.

2) As for leaving camp, you cannot leave without staff permission. The only certain way to leave camp for an extended of time is to go to Manhattan for school, which you can only do at the start of any semester. As for quests, those need to be approved by the staff before anyone can RP them out. So a detailed description of the quest and the people it involves would best be sent to Cara the admin. As for Chiron, I don't think we have an active Chiron, which means you'd need staff permission to god-mod him (or NPC him). If the staff approves of both these things, then you've got the green light to RP the quest. I haven't seen a quest since I've been around, but it's happened before.

Russell got most of it, but I just wanted to add in that we don't have any quests going at the moment. You have to audition for quests, but right now we're just working on the SWP.
